Kanye West, most influential person of all time? Yes! You are a good person! Kanye West is the most influential figure of our generation. Whether that be from his unbelievable discography with classic and timeless albums, his fashion (mainly due to his partnership with Adidas on his Yeezy sneakers), or even his political views - which appeals to the crazy right-wing Americans. His influence extends beyond just music, with it reaching various fields. Ye has influenced most of this generation, whether that be fellow rappers or even ordinary people like me and you. He was also a huge supporter of former President Donald Trump, with him publicly supporting him during his tenure in office and even going to the White House to visit Trump. Donald Trump stands for a greater America, which Kanye resonates with. Most of Kanye’s following was mostly coming from fans of his music, but neutrals called his campaign a publicity stunt and a pathetic excuse to gain attraction to his name. Overall, he received 70,000 votes on the ballots, which is impressive considering he was late for most of the states involved. Although it hasn’t been an instant success, he hasn’t lost his spirit and one day strives to be America’s leader. Kanye West's influence is undeniable with him inspiring many of today’s generation with his gifted vision towards many fields and inspiring people to embrace authenticity and being creative with their ideas. And as we enter a new era for Ye with his Vultures albums, West’s influence isn’t slowing down any time soon.
