My First Music Concert

Good Essays
Does the genre or artist you follow determine if you have an memorable experience if you went to their concert? Any first music concert a human goes to will definitely either have an excellent experience or disappointment. Compared to other crowded events like your NBA basketball game, the intensity of people is ridiculously loud and everyone wants to put their hard earned cash to good use. However, price ranges from $30 to $500 over in resale for concert tickets and some people critically acclaim about how well the show will be. At the age of 19, four days after my birthday I saw a Kanye concert. Since this was my first concert I expected to have an incredible show, from the stellar songs that I wanted to be heard to the crowds interactions …show more content…
Kanye even mentioned for Dallas to have one of the best nights of our lives. Once in a long time this moment was epic. People close to me were fired up and having the time of their lives! I witnessed an iconic artist make fans have memories with their friends and companions. The only thing I thought Kanye did wrong was end the show with “Ultralight Beam.” The song is still very good but he barely sang and just had the music play for him. I felt it was like an awkward moment because he really did not say a farewell. He just played a song and left. As an added bonus he had moments where he talked about life in general and the story of how close he was to his mother. Little increments Kanye included were a bonus for people attending, he wanted us to be motivated by his story.
Probably one of the greatest music concert I will ever see, spectacular songs and just the wonderful experience in general. The service really irritated me since it was annoying waiting so long but Kanye made up for it with an awesome performance. I would hands down see his next concert after he makes another new album. More importantly, for people who love rap or just getting into the culture. I would without a doubt suggest to see Kanye West because he has a unique way of making a concert

Before attending, I just knew I would easily become more bored with each passing song; however, I was the complete opposite. By the end of the concert I left feeling good and very pleased with my decision to try out something new by coming to see him perform. Attending this concert made me realize that Rap, Hip Hop, and R&B are not the only style of genres I can enjoy listening to. Bonamassa was able to introduce me to a whole new world of music. I can certainly see myself attending another one of his concerts if presented the…

Imagine a place where hundreds of people go almost everyday to see a couple of people perform live and have a good time with all their friends. I went to The Rave and this is where that happens. On my birthday, February 4th, I went to Milwaukee Wisconsin to see Excision perform along with 12th Planet, Cookie Monsta, Dion Timmer, Bear Grillz and Barely Alive. Excision has always been one of my favorite music producers since I was around 12 years old. The music he produces is dubstep, not everyone likes this genre of music because it can be a bit profound to some but it’s pleasing to my ears and I enjoy it.…

    Analysis Of Kanye West

This was no different for his Brit Award performance in 2015. It was on this stage Kanye performed “All Day” in full, live, surrounded by a bunch of men in black, with two men holding flame throwers firing it into the air. It’s sudden surprise, the fact all day was sought after in the community, and Taylor Swift dancing to the song while attending the event in a manner that many on the community related to, the release of “All Day” became an “Historic” event on the site. It’s reaction can be compared to a professional wrestling crowd reacting to the return of their favorite superstar. Everyone is celebrating an “accomplishment” they have worked so hard for.…

I would use this as a DJ when it’s time to tone down the tempo a little bit at a party. This is another song that has been sampled a lot. Horace Brown used this sample in his song “Things We Do For Love” which was a hit at that time. It was and is still one of my favorites of all time. 8:45-9:35 was not surprising when James kept asking the band to do it one more time.…

    The Jack Johnson Concert

Seeing Jack live and performing his new album made it such a more pleasant experience than listening to his music through headphones or a lab top. I feel like being there, hearing him playing his guitar, the extra instruments added in such as the keyboard, bass, and drums, made it a totally different experience. This concert blew every other concert out of the water that I have ever been to, and then some. I highly suggest that if anyone enjoys relaxing music and a great atmosphere, to go to one of his shows and see for…

Prior to this movement he was just popular in the south and made TV appearances and many radio hits like “Heartbreak Hotel”, the number one selling record of 1954. “Blue Suede Shoes”, “Hound Dog”, “Love Me Tender”, and “Don’t Be Cruel” were also many hits for Presley and are known as some of his best songs today(Dailey 44.) Teenagers were going wild for this new craze of Rock ’n’ Roll, but most importantly they loved everything about Elvis. He brought a new style along with his good looks, great hair, and flamboyant hip movements, that shocked a generation. Some adults found a way to stop teenagers from seeing his dance moves: on the Ed Sullivan Show, he was only shown from the waist up (Daily 58).…

We enter the field and I hear the judges talking, but my thoughts are overpowering what they are saying. ‘Don’t forget to turn on count one.’ I didn’t want to mess up and disappoint my band family. When the competition was over I was very relieved, and proud of myself. All my hard work during band camp paid off. It was a great show.…

On the night of April 16th I attended “An Evening of Small Group Jazz” at Cal State Northridge’s Cypress Hall. For that whole day I was pretty glad I would be attending the event due to graduating from a Music Academy high school. Unfortunately, it did not go as well as expected. For my second concert I decided to attend my high school’s jazz concert on May 1st. On this night there where 3 combos that played their little hearts out and was I proud.…

Tickets were kind of difficult to get because it was so close to the concert, but they were some of the best seats I’ve ever had at a concert. We didn’t feel like finding a parking spot at the Moda Center so we decided to take the Tri-met, which was my first time ever on it. It was a lot nicer than the one in Arizona and we laughed and talked about our day. We got there about 45 minutes before the opening act, Slydigs, began and she bought…
