My First Music Concert

Does the genre or artist you follow determine if you have an memorable experience if you went to their concert? Any first music concert a human goes to will definitely either have an excellent experience or disappointment. Compared to other crowded events like your NBA basketball game, the intensity of people is ridiculously loud and everyone wants to put their hard earned cash to good use. However, price ranges from $30 to $500 over in resale for concert tickets and some people critically acclaim about how well the show will be. At the age of 19, four days after my birthday I saw a Kanye concert. Since this was my first concert I expected to have an incredible show, from the stellar songs that I wanted to be heard to the crowds interactions …show more content…
Kanye even mentioned for Dallas to have one of the best nights of our lives. Once in a long time this moment was epic. People close to me were fired up and having the time of their lives! I witnessed an iconic artist make fans have memories with their friends and companions. The only thing I thought Kanye did wrong was end the show with “Ultralight Beam.” The song is still very good but he barely sang and just had the music play for him. I felt it was like an awkward moment because he really did not say a farewell. He just played a song and left. As an added bonus he had moments where he talked about life in general and the story of how close he was to his mother. Little increments Kanye included were a bonus for people attending, he wanted us to be motivated by his story.
Probably one of the greatest music concert I will ever see, spectacular songs and just the wonderful experience in general. The service really irritated me since it was annoying waiting so long but Kanye made up for it with an awesome performance. I would hands down see his next concert after he makes another new album. More importantly, for people who love rap or just getting into the culture. I would without a doubt suggest to see Kanye West because he has a unique way of making a concert

I, Randy Rivas, attended a performance with two separate chamber groups and a soloist. One of the chamber groups was Christine S. Lopez and Sung Ae Lee both performing on piano, the other was Paul Da Silva playing piano and Manon Robertshaw on cello, and lastly Sung Ae Lee doing a solo performance. This was performed at Cerritos College in the music building at BC-51. It began at eleven in the morning on February twenty sixth. First musical performance was the piece of Muzio Clementi’s sonata in B flat major for two pianos.…

Personal Narrative It took us about 3 hours to get to Shakopee, it was only 60 degrees, but with the thousands of people lined up, waiting to get in, it felt like 90. We stood in that line for two hours. For awhile, we talked, we met a variety of people, we laughed, we were excited. But once we got closer to the front of the line we all got quiet, this is it, we were in, we were all going to see our idols.…

By the end of the concert I left feeling good and very pleased with my decision to try out something new by coming to see him perform. Attending this concert made me realize that Rap, Hip Hop, and R&B are not the only style of genres I can enjoy listening to. Bonamassa was able to introduce me to a whole new world of music. I can certainly see myself attending another one of his concerts if presented the…

I do not think any words could have truly described how I nor the rest of the audience felt during that performance. The opinions and analogies of the pieces found in the program notes did slightly influence me. I agreed with and understood most opinions and comments of the performances. The listenings I did for my pre-concert assignment were not nearly the same thing as being in the auditorium. It was a completely different experience to see, hear and feel the performance in person as opposed to watching a video on a screen and trying to listen to the depth of the orchestra through…

Standing just as close as we can to the gate, that blocked off the VIP area, which was right in front of the stage. Matt from wild country 99 comes on the stage to introduce Dallas Smith. Standing in the crowd with everyone, I moved from left, right, then left again from getting pushed around in the excitement. Watching in amazement thinking about how long we all have been waiting to see him, and in a matter of seconds he is right in front of my eyes. He walks on stage, in no fancy or too nice of clothes but rather in a white t shirt and faded light wash jeans.…

Unforgettable with Stephanie Aaron and the Bradley Jazz Ensemble was a very unique experience. I do not attend many concerts, but the ones that I have gone to were nothing like this one. The concert was full of energy and the lighting was dynamic. I mostly went to traditional concerts, but this jazz concert was much more energetic. When musicians would finish a solo the crowd would applaud and there was a lot of movement among the ensemble.…

During the final week of classes at Truman, I had the pleasure of hearing the school’s jazz bands in concert. During the concert, the Jazz Lab band and the Jazz Ensemble, both directed by Tim AuBuchon, played several jazz standards and modern favorites. The Jazz Lab band started out the night with five big band pieces. The instrumentation of the Jazz Lab band was standard for a big band; it included about four of each horn (saxophone, trumpet, and trombone), an upright bass, a piano, and a drumset.…

It was a concert in which singers performed songs and the music director played the piano. Since the concert was held in the auditorium the sound was evenly distributed for everyone to enjoy. I went to the concert with my best friend; I could tell she was not excited as much as I was. At first, the crowd was only about 120 people, but as the main stage’s set progressed, and the more crowd-hyped bands played, the crowd got bigger. There were drunks, stoners, and shirtless men and girls everywhere and it was kind of disgusting. Managing through all of the nastiness, somehow my friend and I pushed our way through the smelly crowd.…

Concert Report Two The concert performance given live that I have attended on Thursday April 20th, 2017 was an organ licentiate recital by Ian Guenette. It was held at the Redpath Hall, a building located on McTavish street. The Redpath Hall was first dedicated for a library building, but is now taken charge by the Schulich School of Music. The Hall is very charming with its high selling that contains thick dark brown carved wodden beams that covers the intire ceiling and gives warmth to the room.…

During my ongoing business conference to Colorado to learn about future career opportunities for my dual degrees in Communication design and Computer Science, I got to attend an orchestra concert presented by the Hapless Heroes who were conducted by Leslie Stewart. There were many other hot spots of the concert some of which included Rome, Japan, Paris and many more. The line up of musicians in London alone range anywhere from Madonna, The Killers, Snoop Dogg, the Who, R.E.M, and even the reuniting of Pink Floyd and Roger Waters for the first time in twenty four years. In Philadelphia a few spotlighted amazing groups were The Black Eyed Peas, Linkin Park, and The Dave Mathews Band. It was estimated that the overall funds raised from this benefit concert was well over four million dollars and was watched live by an estimated three billion people. Talk about an amazing impact by all who entertained, watched, and contributed these benefits all for one common good…
