1.) Some interesting facts I learned about Kanye West are that was a college dropout, Kanye dropped out because he wished to pursue his music career. This greatly disappointed his mother who was a professor at the college Kanye attended. This action inspired Kanye’s first album to be called “College Dropout”. Kanye also studied abroad in China when her mother and him travelled to China so she could discover new cultures and ideas and also because his mom had a temporary job at a university there. Another interesting fact I learned about Kanye West is that he started working on and selling beats for songs when he was only fourteen and sold them for fifty dollars.

2.) On a scale of one to ten I would give this biography an eight. I would give it this rating because it does not necessarily go in chronological order of his life. However, the book provided many interesting facts and information about his life and was very descriptive. This book also included useful information about Kanye West’s life as a young boy from the very beginning of his career. This book also did not include very many specific dates, just unspecific time frames. Also, this book does make important information stand out. The book does a good job also going through his entire life’s story.

Kanye owns a brand of clothing called “Yeezy”, these clothes are almost always purposely baggy and torn up. So, I would ask him why clothes of this condition would be sold for close to 3000 to 5000 dollars. I would ask this because to me paying so much money for a torn up sweater does not make sense to me at all. Another reason I would ask this is because I would be curious to how much money he makes off these clothes and how much clothing he usually sales because of the price. The reason I would ask this also is because I don’t see the need for such expensive

The interesting aspect of The Life of Pablo is that the album didn’t really develop a new sound like past Kanye albums, but it still brought a compelling twist to West’s discography. Although he samples more gospel music in songs like “Ultralight Beam,” West utilizes an array of styles from his past albums all compiled in this album. These styles include his soul samples from The College Dropout and hip hop anthems from Graduation; it’s like a beautiful concoction of everything Kanye made by Kanye. However, the diversity of styles and themes throughout The Life of Pablo created a messier composition than other Kanye albums, leaving many individuals polarized on their opinion of the album. In terms of publicity, West had a very up and down personal life years leading up to the release of The Life of Pablo.…

He started recording full albums with very heavy auto tune, and his music became much darker. One of the biggest changes to his style of music came with his sixth album named Yeezus; it was released in 2013. “The album tries a completely different dark sound, combining elements of Chicago Drill, Dancehall, Acid House, and Industrial music.”…

While many argue that autotune hurts the music industry by blurring the lines between what is and what is not talent, auto-tune can be used as a creative tool that allows artist who cannot sing to expand their audience through melody. This creative use of auto-tune is best exemplified through Kanye West's 808s and Heartbreak. The album was the first of its kind, incorporating auto-tune ballads with rap instrumentals. In a CNN article titled “The Invention That Changed Music Forever”, author Jacopo Prisco emphasized, “Kanye west first used auto-tune in his 2008 album 808s and Heartbreak, which was included in the Rolling Stone’s list of the 40 most groundbreaking records of all time.” 808s and Heartbreak marked a new period for rap music.…

There are various reasons why one becomes a college drop out. The reasons vary from being able to pay the tuition and miscellaneous fees the university requires to one’s own laziness to attend school as well as other emotional problems which hinder one to attend like the usual students. It is difficult for a college drop out to get the job he wishes or even a job that is enough to sustain one’s daily needs. The reason behind this is the fact that most companies prefer their employees to at least have a college diploma knowing that they already have the knowledge it takes to handle the job. The sad part about this is that this excuse is being used by companies whose job doesn’t really require a college diploma since the skills required are already…
