I mean you do sometimes but not all the time. That needs to change asap. Ever since i was young traffic and stuff has always moved slow. The city needs to work on all that before it’s to late. The author says in paragraph 3, line 4 that “congress even passed a federal aid highway act in 1944. But it didn’t provide any money to talk to all these people into fixing these roads. The roads in Kansas City needs to be fixed. They need to be fixed for safety issues and for people who are not trying to be late going somewhere. I feel like they need to make highways wider so that people can get to where they are going without having traffic congestion. In paragraph 5, line 2 the author talks about how “in 1956 congress passed a new federal aid highway act.” It took a long time to get them fixed, but they still got them fixed. That’s what i feel like needs to happen so that everything will be better.
I agree with everything i wrote in this essay. I can call the city and try to talk to them about getting these highways and roads fixed. I can also start a movement so that people can speak up with me on how they believe we should have better roads and they’ll finally do something about it. I honestly just feel like they need to start working on the roads and highways now so that they can be fixed and ready to go by the time im driving to college and for my future
