The vampire clubs where vampires hang out to drink the blood of willing human prey were interesting. The way the vampire world still managed to exist within the human without totally obliterating it by finding novel ways to get the much needed blood like the blood bank. The child vampire reminds one of Claudia, in Anne Rice's "Interview with a vampire". The idea of a child who grows up inside but remains a child on the outside is enthralling. At this point, it becomes hard not to draw comparisons with other vampire based books that have come out before, very hard but totally
