As people living in the modern world we are aware about jewelry and the different purposes of wearing jewelry at different types of occasions of life while some are using jewelries to beautify themselves some are wearing jewelries to show the cultures they belong to. An at the same time jewelry become an icon that reveals different types of trends. In fact nowadays jewelry has become a medium of communication.
At present there are different types of design and trends in the world and all these designs and trends had developed over many thousands of years. The mental and the social development of the society had caused these changes of trends over the years.

3. How the elements and principles matter with Kandyan period jewelry to express power and status of people?
Relevance and justifications
In Kandyan period we can see there was a social structure and there they have enhanced their power and status with their appearance.
To enhance power and status with appearance people has used jewelry and I want to explore how they used elements & principles for express such an expression.
Objective
Explore the principle and elements which are used to enhance power & status by the jewelry designs of Kandyan period.
And also discover how the elements and principles were applied to jewelries.
