Book Review This paper is a book review. To be more specific, this is a book review about a book called, “Beautiful Creatures”; written by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. I’ve read this book quite a few times, this most likely won’t be the last, and the thesis of the story was made very clear the first time: Who, or what, really controls your fate? The thing about the characters in “Beautiful Creatures” is that no matter what their role in the story is, no matter whether they’re the high school brat or the most evil of Dark Casters, everyone has something all of their own. Heck, even the fat local truant officer has great characterization! So, while Ethan is the main character/narrator, and Lena the next most important character, you don’t just have interest in those two characters alone. There’s a large variety of amazing, original characters gathered around Ethan and Lena, and I love them
