I WHO IS CURZIO MALAPARTE?
Curzio Malaparte, born Kurt Erich Suckert, was born in Prato, Tuscany. He began his education at Collegio Cicognini and ended it at La Sapmienza University of Rome. IV Design
The design of Casa Malaparte is a 2.800 square foot Los Feliz house. Perhaps the most iconic thing about the house is the exterior staircase leading to a rooftop terrace that overlooks the east side of the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is composed primarily of stone and brick. It has a freestanding curved white wall with increasing height on the roof. The interior consists of white walls and ceilings with varying pitches throughout the home. (Cohen)
