Kalup Case

While I understand emotions often trump intellect in a post-divorce universe, but seriously Cookie, what does Kalup’s current age have anything to do with him requiring less support? He is sixteen, not eighteen and graduated from high school… currently scheduled for June of 2020.

Additionally, please stop making Kalup out to be a charity, because raising him is not a game of narcissism and rewards for monetary support. Enough with the illogical reasoning’s on how you’ve paid enough, and behaving as if treated with some injustice for financially supporting our son. It’s exhausting, and frankly, nonsense. This amount that you seem to think is so unfair is a number your lawyer came up with when I was working for QVC, and you were an E5 (check your 2008 correspondence for reference). Additionally, you were supposed to submit your financial information after our bankruptcy was completed to find out how much child support you are required to pay per Florida, but you have refused time and again (once more, check your correspondences for reference). In other words, enough with the blame placing and have some accountability for your actions.

Show him how to polish his dress shoes or how to lift weights properly… put an effort! Stop holding a grudge for whatever reason you began it. You have a life out here maturing into an amazing young man, and the longer you push him away, the harder it’s going to be to mend your

In the State of Tennessee and just like any other state in the U.S, child support if a very controversial subject amongst many due to mainly one reason, the fairness of the courts between mother and father. Child support, a court ordered payment system, is comprised of a payment method made by the non-custodial parent to the second parent for the better benefit of the child or children. In the state of Tennessee, more often than not, custody automatically goes straight to the mother it seems. Personally, fathers get the short end of the stick when it comes to raising their children after the papers have been filed from personal experience with my own father and our family. Overall, looking into the child support system fathers should not be held accountable for child support and that it should be equally divided amongst the two involved parents and not be withheld with jail time for the result of missed finances.…
