When we do a Marathon, we will experience diverse courses, such as, hills, downhills, and curve, etc. Each time when the course is changed, the runner should adjust new types of running style to maintain his or her pace, so s/he can do the long run. I think my life is the same like a marathon. Life gave us diverse situation, and we should find proper countermeasure, and overcome the moment, so we can be arrived the finish line. Each Criteria also has four different types characteristics. During the whole semester while taking HTM 301, my the only and one concern was when is the right time to drop the class since it was too burden on me. At the time, all of sudden, one very important thought just flashed through my mind. Whether I drop the class or not, I must take the class someday again unless I transferred to another major or another college. Thus, I decided not to drop the class. Like this example, I have made many choices not that I want to, but that I have to. Although it was impure intention, I kept taking the class, and finish the class with passing grade. Surprisingly, the class became one of my favorite classes among diverse classes, because I acknowledged the class as one of most challengeable classes. I really wanted to work on my self-savvy, not business-savvy or people-savvy, because self-savvy sounds easier and simple than other savvy since I am already optimism and always try to do the self-development. When I look back into my personality in the past, I have never finished those classes by myself, however, I could see how I was improved through this entire HTM courses, and my leadership has been improved! After taking all the classes, I could finally take HTM 491 classes which is all about self-development. At this point, I could understand why self-development class is available after done all other classes. Self-development is not as much as easy that I thought in the past. Knowing my leadership style, and adjusting the leadership style that I desire to be is not easy at all. Through HTM 491 class, I could learn diverse leadership styles directly and indirectly. One of the most memorable things from the class was midterm exam. The movie that I chose was “The Queen,” and I was so touched by the action of Tony Blare.
