I am pleased to recommend Kaidlyne Neukam for admissions into your university. I have known Kaidlyne for almost four years in my role as her School Counselor at North Montgomery High School. Kaidlyne encompasses every trait we hope to see in a student. She is extremely ambitious, driven to succeed in her academic endeavors, and shows exemplary character. Kaidlyne possesses all of the attributes necessary to become a successful professional and would be a great addition to your campus.
Kaidlyne has taken a rigorous course of study while at North Montgomery High School. She has completed every AP class available, as well as several Honor’s and Dual College Credit courses. Due to her passion for politics and government, she persuaded me to allow her to take AP Government, a class we do not offer, online this year in addition to her already full course load. Kaidlyne is arguably one of the most motivated and determined students I have encountered in my career. She has a fervent work-ethic and will overcome any obstacle to reach her goals. She has proven mastery of academic concepts by maintaining a 3.9

She has taken the college selection process more seriously than any student I have encountered in my nine years in this position. Kaidlyne has thoroughly researched college websites, read dozens of student blogs, taken virtual tours, attended at least four college fairs, and has carefully assessed what is important to her about a college program. Throughout everything, academics have been at the forefront of her mind. She understands the investment of a college education and has such a passion for learning that she wants to make the best decision for her future. Her family has been supportive of her, but her drive and focus is most definitely internal and not a result of outside

The most recent Presidential election has consumed the national consciousness. With each passing debate, speech, headline, and commercial, we have been flooded with negative messages that are highlighting all that is wrong with our current and perspective political leaders. We seem to have leaders who are devoid of the character necessary to handle the great challenges that face our nation and our world. It would be easy to sit in a state of despair about the future of our country. I, however, find solitude in knowing that we are raising a new generation of young adults in our schools, such as Nathan Lefeld, who can strive of excellence academically, persevere through adversity, find joy in service to others, and work extremely hard to earn…

Praise of an Angelic Teacher; Kathy Miller chooses not to rule the world Before addressing the absolutely critical need for all students to pursue the love of Kathy Miller, it is important to realize the greatness that Mrs. Miller has achieved. In all of her years at Banjo High School she has perfected the junior SAT, and in her humbleness she would never lead you to believe that she was the cause of this massive jump in the SAT averages. She has also been a steady member of the Soccer Club for many years, never once convincing them that she had enough power to pressure them into making her child the starting goalie. No sir, Kathy has been faithful and has never once used tenure as an excuse to lazily teach or become enthralled in the power…

Argumentative Essay: Flaws of the Education System There are inherent flaws within the education system which we use today pushes students far beyond their limits and it lacks emphasis on practical skill. Schools create a needlessly high stress environment basing their future upon numbers and grades rather than teaching and refining their practical skills. Lots of potential is flushed out of the curriculum due to college and high schools insisting that students must be able to juggle advance courses, maintain high unweighted GPAs, and participate in extracurricular activities in order to succeed in the future; hence, repairing and recognizing the inherent flaws of the education system is crucial to ensure that students earn the future that…

As I began this class in January my definition of curriculum was based on the academic coursework teachers use to instruct the information. Now my definition of curriculum is anything that falls under the auspice of the school that includes coursework, classroom arrangement, instruction, assessment, student engagement, and community involvement. My perspective is curriculum is what students learn in and out of the school. We need to teach students to become learners and problem solvers for the 21st century. I currently work at The Academy at Penncrest High School through the Simon Youth Foundation.…
