Jysaiah Cromer - Personality Development
They say in life you are a lot of who you came from and who you were raised by. I think that’s true because a lot of who I am today I got from my grandfather. He has a very humorous personality. Honestly don’t know why he’s that way, that’s just how the majority of my family acts. Even when something serious happens he will turn it into a joke. Say if someone got in a car crash and there ok, he’ll try to say something about they were probably on some type of drugs (in a joking way). Personally, I feel like I act the same way or at least that’s what people tell me. This way you’re not mad, stressed, or sad all the time. Instead you find the better in things and not the bad. That’s how my grandfather has impacted life for the better.

So it’s only normal that I would pick things up from him. Every were we went he would always know everyone and be always make them laugh. One time we went to my uncle’s football game and everyone there loved my grandpa. He’s yelling about how the referees are horrible and can’t see .That’s when I realized I wanted to be the same way. Sometimes I know being this way can be annoying for other people. Because my grandpa gets on my nerves sometimes. Because of him I don’t like confrontation because, I like to have joke around. But it it’s all just fun and games with me and him. I’m guessing I was bound to be this way even if it wasn’t for my grandfather
In the end we are all probably the same way as someone who raised us. They all have a huge impact on us as a person. So think about who made you the way about are today? Doesn’t have to be someone related to you. My grandpa just showed me a better way to live. It’s

Elie Wiesel, a man of many words, once said “Let us not forget, after all, that there is always a moment when the moral choice is made. Often because of one one story or one book or one person, we are able to make a different choice, a choice for humanity, for life.” Simple people which one passes carelessly everyday can change another's perspective on the way they view life forever. I have looked up to a lot of different people throughout my years, all being of great wealth and fame, but what I didn’t notice until recently was the one who had the greatest impact on my life was much closer to me than expected. Mirabella, my 10 year old sister was born with an extra chromosome and a hole in her heart so life wasn’t very easy for her straight from the start, but she prevailed.…

It has been 17 years as an 86 year old patriarch of my family, Vincent Punaro, continually showed me compassion and frequently guided my pathway in the right direction. He set the parameters: button your coat or you’ll catch cold: be back before dark; here, have some more spaghetti and meatballs; finish your dinner, the children in Europe are starving; do what the teacher says; listen to your father; don’t lie; listen to your mother; if you do that again, you’re gonna get it, and so on. However, even with parameters set, he let me strive to become my own person. As you can imagine being fathered by a man not only from a different decade but from a different century has made my life challenging at times. Not in the sense that he was not a…
