The purpose of this study is to discuss how juveniles can be sexual offenders and reasons to why they may act in this delinquent matter. Juveniles commit a significant number of the sexual assaults against children and women in this country. The ongoing of sexual offending behavior in youth can be linked to numerous factors reflected in their experiences, exposure, and development of mental disorders. More and more research suggests that, as in the case of adult sex offenders, a huge distinction can be made between children that go after adults or peers and those who offend against children.
