Hello Marquita, thank you for replying to my post. I have a passion for the juvenile justice system, I do believe that if they are given to a person who can help them change their lives around. I also believe that no child is a lost cause because they are difficult to handle to deal with. A child will do anything that they can think of to get attention from someone, if we are really looking at the behavior before a child acts out in an unlawful way we will see that they have been doing minor things before this happened. If we continue to subject our children to a violent way in the prison system, then what are we telling them?
