There is a problem over the world that many people choose not to face head on, juvenile delinquent punishment. It is hard for many people to decide, depending on the crime that they have committed, which punishment could be best suited for a juvenile’s crime. People don’t quite grasp that children are basing their actions off of what they see or hear and it’s hard for them to differentiate between right and wrong in many cases. There are many questions people should ask about juvenile delinquents before you enact your judgement on them. It is necessary to know that when you look upon juvenile delinquents for the crimes they commit that they should not be treated the same as adults, they are more similar to children than adults and they need different punishments for their crimes. Juveniles delinquents are more on the lines of children and should not be considered adults.

Without guidance the deeds they commit can turn around and destroy their foundation of youth. Most children need special care and guidance to not stray off their course of development. The care that is shown to these juveniles is there to help them achieve a successful return to their family and friends, and to help reduce further offending in the future. Adults should be able to control their actions and understand the boundaries of right and wrong and this is something most juveniles don’t necessarily have. By the course of misjudgment or want from something as small as a toy to as big as love juveniles could make a choice they don’t understand at the moment they commit it.
