Justin Rhiannon Character Analysis

A, the narrator and main character of the book Every Day by David Leviathan, is the character in which I feel my prediction most accurate. As a result of A’s actions and traits shown in the book, I have come to the confident conclusion that the zodiac sign A was born into was a Libra. Libras are known for their ability to relate to others as if they had been put in their shoes, and who knows what that’s like better than A! In the book, A transfers from body to body every day at midnight with no way to avoid it. Even when he tried to stay up all night his spirit was ripped out of his current body and plopped into the next victim. A had to learn to adjust to the person’s friends, family, school, and home situation without leaving the slightest …show more content…
Rhiannon was just a regular high schooler until she found out A had one day taken over her boyfriend’s body Justin. Her and A stayed in touch and began to have feelings for each other, however, she still remained with Justin. These actions showed me that Rhiannon is indecisive and will hold on to relationships because of her fear of rejection against others - classic pisces! Staying with Justin specifically exposed Rhiannon’s mysterious and deceptive side. Justin may have not been the best boyfriend, but that is no reason to sneak around with someone else while remaining with him. In particular, on page 213, Rhiannon told A, “I love you,” yet she was still in a relationship with Justin! Not only is this showing the reader that she is undependable, but she clearly has commitment issues, sounds like a Pisces to me. Pisces have been found to have conflictive emotions in relationships. As a matter of fact, Pisces in relationships tend to distant and ambivalent. Furthermore, Pisces in relationships are very romantic, but are not ones to joke around. A was shown this side of Rhiannon when he plays a prank on her by pretending not to know her when she asks him in a library if he is A. Instead of laughing it off, Rhiannon takes this practical joke very offensively when she begins to yell at him in the middle of a public library. A of course was sorry for the fact she had taken his light hearted gesture the wrong way, but I could tell he was a little bit surprised Rhiannon was acting so uptight. It is plain as day that Rhiannon was, without a doubt, born a

One of the connections I have made with my main character is that we both have the same reaction when we get startled or scared without knowing. In my book Here Lies Daniel Tate the main character is a man who poses as other people to stay off the streets, he mostly poses as younger men because even though he is older than he seems he has his baby face to rely on. For instance, in this situation, he posed as a teenager named Daniel Tate who was a 10-year-old boy who was kidnapped 6 years ago and was never found again since then. The advantage that he has this time is that he had studied this Daniel Tate for months so he knew all the information he needed to pose as him for a long time without getting caught. When he was is in an orphanage waiting…

Chris McCandless’ actions can be seen as rebellious at first, but as time goes on, it is clear that there is hostility between his parents and himself that he does not want to face or try to fix. In a dysfunctional family, there are two extremes when it comes to the outcome of the children: the rebel or the conformist. Although the older child is typically the conformist and the younger child is the rebel, the McCandless family is a little different because both children are the rebels. Krakauer says, “Also like Chris, she clashed fiercely with Walt and Billie as an adolescent… [but] Carine made peace with her parents shortly after Chris disappeared” (129).…
