Many people in the United States have heard the name Justin Bieber, although some may not know his story. Justin Drew Bieber was born on March 1st, 1994. He grew up in Ontario, Canada with his single mother. Justin grew up very poor, his mother said they were below the line of poverty. In one single video him and his mother's fortune changed drastically. Justin bieber made videos of himself singing and somehow got the attention of the very famous singer Usher.

At a very early age Justin found his love for music. " 'My mom bought me my first drum set when I was four, I picked up the guitar when I was six and taught myself to play, and I didn't start singing until I was ten.' (Abbey, 32)". Learning to play instruments at such a young age helped him realize how much he loved music. One of the reasons Justin Bieber is my role model is because he has taught me that anything is possible and kids can make a difference.
