After this semester, I must say that Criminal law is an area I will explore further. However, I’m still interested in more transactional work as well. I think if I practice Criminal law, I would be sure to promote justice in every aspect of my career. I would work with the defendants to find a reasonable solution to the situation. If I was to practice in a Private law firm, I would be sure to pursue Pro Bono services to assist low-income clients. I would also assist those who make too much to qualify as low-income but do not make enough to afford an attorney. Those are the individuals that are in need of zealous representation. They fall into a gray area that the legal profession does not fully address. That is an injustice I would work towards correcting.
