Have you ever thought about this question: “What do you want in your society?” One might say freedom, while another may say stability. Opinions will be different for everyone, so I will tell you what I think. Freedom, equality, and justice are the 3 most important values of society because they somehow build on each other. Here is why:
I think justice because when Animal Farm (an allegoric novel based on the Russian Revolution) depicts how men in the novel are tyrannical, they rule and use their authority to purge and kick out anyone that opposes him or whom he distrusts. In the beginning of the book, Mr. Jones, the unkind master who indulges himself while his animals lack food (representing Tsar Nicholas 2), takes away the right for the animals to have their share of the farm (in a bad way). Because of that, Old Major (Vladimir Lenin) has to give a speech about this whole (man) situation and how it is unfair and injustice to them, in which Mr. Jones and his army of men are badly mistreating the animals. I think this is significant because justice means fairness. But instead of being fair, Mr. Jones takes away the food and hogs it to himself, which he is unfairly getting the leisure while the animals have to not only go through, but unjustly share the pain of not getting any food. …show more content…
