In conclusion, Junipero Serra followed God’s call and did as God wanted. He’s an outstanding role model and was canonized in 2015. God calls to be like Junipero Serra. Therefore, to act like Junipero Serra, I would accept a vocation from God if he asks me, do what the Church wants me to do, and use my special traits to serve God and His people.

A vocation is a strong calling to a certain profession. If God called me to take part in a religious vocation, I’d answer him and do as he wants. If God knows what’s best for me, then I’ll trust him. Whatever he called me for, it must be important and only I could be able to accomplish the task. For example, I could be called to work in a shelter and care for homeless animals. The Church encourages me to serve those in need. Through my community service, I’ve been helping God’s gift and his people. A few project’s I’ve done are beach clean up, a school supply drive, and currently I’m helping a local animal shelter. For beach up, I went to a beach in Santa Cruz and picked up trash along the shore and sand. I was cleaning God’s great gift of the environment to us. During the school supply drive, I packed certain school supplies for kids who couldn’t afford them. Through this service act, I was caring and helping God’s people. Currently, I’m working on a service project for an animal shelter. I’m passing out flyers to people asking for old blankets, towels, and newspapers. Then, I’ll pick them up and give them to the

We are all called to fill multiple roles during our life. In chapters 5-8 of God at Work, Veith (2002) explains the importance of each of these vocations and how they intermix with each other. In looking at each of these, it is important to note that one vocation does not carry more power than another. Veith explains how God works through us in each of the vocations of worker, family member, citizen, and church member to love and serve our neighbor.…

I show leadership, service, or scholarship character every day at school and home with all my sisters. But there are many events, where I show service more. For example, I help Ms. Soto with the PTA meetings that the school has, I also take care of her son Aaron whenever she has an important meeting to attend. I'm willing to give up my personal time to take care of Aaron because I feel like if I see anyone needing to help I should to help them in any way I can. It's something inside of me that wakes up and tells me " go help ", " they need your help, go to see what you can do."…

In high school, I joined Key Club, where I sold flowers for powder puff, volunteered at my elementary school’s Trunk or Treat, and helped with the book and coat drive.
