In Junior ROTC, I learned many different ways to not only help myself but to also help others. I have seen that many young adults in this generation and country believe that it is “too hard” to go help others. Whether or not the service is small, picking up trash for example, or something large, something should be done and you should get involved. Getting involved with the community and the people around you because in the JROTC mission statement you are basically trying to help others and yourself become a better citizen.
