During my last year of my Junior High. I was hanging out with bad influences. As I thought they were my friends. I ran away from home. It all started on a school day, I and my friends would go almost every day to a friend's house after school. This was sorta like a routine. As soon as school was out I would wait for my friends and we would all leave to his house. So as we are leaving I decided to take my girlfriend with me. We went to go eat and when we were done, we went to my friend's house. Of course, young I would just do things without thinking of the consequences. As we are arriving in my friend's apartment complex my friend was telling me about this empty apt. That was there and I think his parents were in charge of the building. This was around 5:00 pm. He decides to take us all to this apt. We were all just chilling I was with my Girlfriend and friends when my friend who lives there had the idea and told us “why don't you guys sleep over no one will ever know you guys are in here”. “ I'll bring you guys blankets”. We responded “yeah” sounds “dope”. They had just told me to ask my mom. But I already knew that if I asked my mom …show more content…
While all this was happening, I was not thinking what was going to happen to me. 10:00 pm were all still in the apt. When one of my friends said “let's go to Hollywood Blvd” we all thought of it and said yeah let's go. We all planned on going, but since my friend lives by a park half of them wanted to go. But mind you this was a dangerous park, especially at night. 12:00 am my phone starts ringing. I check and it's my mom calling.I didn't answer because I know I would get in trouble and be told to get back home. As we are on our way to Hollywood my phone starts ringing nonstop Dad, Mom, and Sister start calling me so I decided to turn my phone off. But before turning off my phone I see that my mom had texted me “ where are you! I'm worried if you don't call me back, I'm going to the

This topic is not an unusual topic. In fact, this is a topic that will help me decide on what college I will go to and attend in my future. My topic is The Citadel military College of the South or its only other competitor Norwich University. It does not necessarily matter where I attend school because no matter where I go I will be enrolled in the ROTC program at either school. In this research paper the items that I will be talking about are things that I have learned from either being talked to about or that I have read online about the colleges.…

Soon, when I went to school and came back, I found out some of my friends lived nearby. After school was done, we would stay outside to do homework. If it was too windy, too cold, or too hot, my friends would come inside my house while my grandma was preparing to make dinner. After we were done doing our homework, we would go outside until it was dark or our parents literally scolding us for not doing homework and instead…

Since my 9th grade year (once I moved back to South Carolina in Columbia) to this current day I have struggled at school, at home, and with myself. I always had problems with teachers and grades and now I can finally admit that truth, I have gone through so much I could make you laugh, cry, be mad, be sad, and be happy all at once. I use to have a bad attitude and be mad at the world because of the type of person I was, I knew that I was lazy, had an attitude, a bad temper, and I did not care about anyone’s feelings, I was always angry and I couldn’t take any constructive criticism without feeling offended if I knew it would save a life. At one point in my 9th grade year I was attempting to try to help myself until my brother was shot, it affected me in and outside of school.…

My First Time Babysitting It was a dark rainy Friday evening, school just let out for the weekend and I was free except I still had one thing to do left, as I was doing a weird walk jog across the campus while trying not to get soaked just to get to the main building, as my phone started to make this weird ringing noise and obviously I got a bunch of looks. When I looked at my phone I saw that my dad was calling me and when I answered my dad told me not to walk home in the rain and just wait it out. Once I got to the main high school building, I walked through the maze of hallways and lockers, and finally just finally I made it to the front of the building. It was still pouring down rain when I looked out of the window, by this time the storm was almost through…

No matter what is going on in my life I always have a way I want everything to turn out, and I think Jeannette feels this way in the Glass Castle. I think most people dream in their head about how well they want the game to go or picture exactly how they want their life to turn out. For me those dreams in my head never seem to be what actually happens. When I went to the high school basketball games in middle school I would look over at the girls in the front row of the student section and only dream about what it would be like to sit in the front row, as seniors, with my best friends and cheer on our boyfriends that were star players. The more I think about it the more I realize that most of the things I wish come from what I see in movies,…
