Jungle Book The Jungle Book has always been a childhood favorite of mine for as long as I can remember. Disney has started doing remakes of famous movies and The Jungle Book was one. The director could not have made this movie more similar to the original, however, there were some differences that came with the remake. The director mixed the two movies together, to keep the strong mythic theme from the original Kipling film. and Disney personality. The first major difference is the movies themselves. When you watch the movies you get two different feelings about them. The first movie is more kid friendly and fun to watch. The newest film is more action packed and real looking. The beginning of the original movie had Mowgli running from something, but never showed it. The current movie shows at the very beginning he is running from a panther. It has the intense moments in it that make you sit on the edge of your chair. I like it because the graphics are so much better, making you feel like you are there with them. It amazes me how far technology has come and that we can watch our old Disney shows in high definition. By far, the second one, is way better and everybody needs to watch it. It is very hard to compare and contrast these two. More contrast, because the director did such an amazing job with the story line. He made it identical to the original, but had to make it more intense and thrilling to watch. Of course, having the song still in there makes it even better, because that is a song that made the movie. The only thing different about the two was when they were made. The movies to me where very identical.

Although there are many other similarities, in the book it showed a lot more detail in what was happening to Ponyboy when he was drowning. In the movie, it focused on Pony but, a little more than Johnny because it was not in Ponyboy’s thoughts. The book was more effective during this scene because even though it did not show much of Johnny’s side, it gave me a lot of visuals on what was happening. It was also super intense with the words…

The movie is very different from the book because sometimes in the book they include more details than in the movie. In the movies they spend a lot of time filming everything and sometimes one scene takes all day to film. In the book is something similar but not too much because in the book they take time to write everything and then to convert it into a book but what do you think. Something that they have in common is that they are written by the same author and it take place in the same year, but this is not always because sometimes they film the movie years after the book.…
