Jungkook Short Stories

Jungkook groans and rolls over in bed when the sunlight filtering through his tiny bedroom window becomes simply impossible to ignore. He cracks an eye open and the small digital clock on his bedside table comes into view, and he squints to focus the dull red numbers, eventually making out 8:47. He allows his eyes to flutter closed again, and then in half a second is suddenly very awake when he realizes that his first class of the day starts at precisely 9:05; meaning he has exactly eighteen minutes to get up, at least try to look decent, and get his ass halfway across campus. He should really focus in class rather than look at memes; oh well. Or, he could just say no and skip, and instead opt to sleep a few more hours. “I know it’s just a bowl cereal, but it’s the only thing I can’t burn.” He motions to the bowl of cheerios sitting on the counter across from him. “Uh, thanks. Why?” Jungkook asks, taking the bowl and leaning against the counter; he takes a bite. “Because,” Jimin doesn’t look up from his phone, “I got up really fucking early because I thought I had class today; but I don’t, and I can’t go back to sleep. I’m waiting for the dance studio to open.” He pauses, and for a second the only sound is Jungkook’s chewing and when the metal spoon clangs against the bowl. Jimin giggles at whatever he’s reading. “The dance studio has hours?” Jungkook asks around a mouthful of mushed oats and milk. “ Yes. So, I made you breakfast. Hell I’d make you coffee too, I’m so bored. But coffee makers aren’t allowed on campus.” Jungkook nods, taking another bite. He starts to wonder how he would go about smuggling in a coffee maker and keeping it

Loud beats, shouts and footsteps fill my ears, and an awful stench of sweat makes it’s way into my nose, but this dance studio is a special place nonetheless. The pleasing scent of freshly ground coffee wafted through the apartment, infiltrating Tom’s dream with its aromatic fragrance. Opening his eyes, he found himself alone on the sofa, the blanket he’d had draped around his shoulders now neatly tucked around his boxer-clad body. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes, and stifling a yawn, he threw back the blanket and looked around his apartment. “Hey, sleepyhead.” Booker stood leaning against the kitchen counter, a cup of coffee in his hand.…

The muggy evening Texas air brushes my dress as I coolly stood up at an intersection near College Vista. A couple of pedestrians oftentimes surveyed me suspiciously, I was fine with that until this one dude invited me to come with him due to the fact that he thought I was a street prostitute. But all is good, thanks to Abby’s trusty Taser Gun – it seems to me that he won’t exasperate me ever again. As agreed upon, Jake pulls up his car along the street at exactly 7:30.…
