The assessment exercises have been a good lesson toward my current leadership skills and the gaps for development. As participative leader, I am open for input, create reduce stress, and enhance creativity; but vulnerable when my team has a poor knowledge or quick response required for the task in hand. My behavior during working with others is dominantly supportive with some caution and dominant approach. A lack of influential traits indicate I could face a struggle to motivate or excited. Slow pace, fear of conflict and lack of expressiveness are the areas I need to improve on due to dominant supportive behavior. For starters, in the DISC assessment there were multiple categories that gave me various feedback. These included decisive, interactive, stabilizing, and cautious categories.
