Also that in school extroverts always had an advantage since the teacher would always count class participation a part of everyone’s grade. They also mention that in the workplace extroverts seemed to dominate in all of the meetings gaining more attention than they often deserve. For the introvert this could be more trouble as they often leave the meeting wondering why they forgot to mention things and or why they didn’t think of certain things to say during the very important meeting. I also found that as an extrovert I may sometimes invade the time and space of introverts that need the downtime to relax from the stress of being around others. I realized after reading further that I this is just how I interpret the world from behavioral and verbal perspective. Although I can be very open and flexible with verbal communications and behaviors, I know I have to tolerate it to an extent. Sometimes I will reach my limit and may not verbalize it, but through my behavior I will let other know that I am “over it”. Since I am a Judger I do visualize the bigger picture and want to plan and organize everything. I have had previous experiences that led me to believe that if it is not planned out or structured in steps I will not reach my goal or won’t fit everything in. I just know that I have that there isn’t but so many hours in the day and many times there are a lot of things and events that must occur. This means that I need to plan and organize my day accordingly. Being flexible and leaving it up to chance just is not an option and can lead to trouble.
