In Julius Caesar they’re plenty of supernatural signs portrayed in nature. Shakespeare was an ecstatic character, he wrote many plays including Julius Caesar. Not only did Shakespeare write plays but he also wrote sonnets and ballads as well. A lot of Shakespeare’s characters were based on the Elizabethan Era and the ancient romans. Shakespeare wrote plays about tragedies, comedies, romance and more. However one thing that is always consistent in his plays is the supernatural and how it played important roles in the play. An example in his plays is how in the tragedy of Julius Caesar the supernatural is shown in nature. Shakespeare is well known for his style of writing. Some examples include Casca roaming the streets and seeing very strange things. It states that while walking the streets Casca sees a common slave man. The man has fire running up his hands and arms but all the while he’s not being burned. Afterwhile, he sees a lion just roaming around. The lion spots Casca and rambles on by without even giving him a second glance. Not soon after he meets a group of women who swear up and down they saw men walking up and down the streets who were engulfed in flames but not burning. Casca then recalls that the day before he seen a night bird atop a roof in midday which was highly unheard of and definitely not natural.
