Do you know what it takes to be a charismatic leader? Leaders have many differences but need charisma to be effective. People that are charismatic leaders usually have good qualities and characteristics. Some of these qualities and characteristics that set apart the difference between charismatic leaders and other leaders may include having good communication skills, being compassionate, confident, and self-monitoring. Steph Curry and Julius Caesar are two leaders that are charismatic leaders because they are well known and respected by their peers. In order to be classified as a charismatic leader you are expected to have good communication skills. Steph Curry shows superb communication skills when communicating with his teammates and peers. On the basketball court he communicates plays with his team and coach. Off the court he communicates by talking to young kids who look up to him and letting them know how they can make it like him (Curtis 2007). People and the press talked about how he missed a record of missed 3-point shots in a game but he was still confident in his shot and continued to take those same shots after they talked bad about him. Not only that but he shows confidence to his teammates when they’re down in a big game by never giving up and fighting hard until the last buzzer. He has helped his team win by doing this and making game winning shots. But it's not only Steph that shows confidence but Julius Caesar shows confidence as well. He shows his confidence whenever he is told something to frighten him and when he is a willing to die for his people. Caesar is told that he is going to be killed if he goes to the capitol and he is so confident and charismatic that he ends up actually going.
