Juli's Chickens: A Narrative Fiction

Bryce thought Juli was annoying and weird just because she would never leave him alone even when he told her to go away and because of her strange obsession with chickens. The thing is, Bryce didn’t see how brave and amazing of a girl Juli was. “One of the men shook his head and said, ‘I am this close to calling the police. You are trespassing and obstructing progress on a contracted job. Now are are you going to come down or are we going to have to cut you down?’ ‘You’re going to have to cut me down!’ I yelled. ‘Hey, guys!’ I called down to my classmates. ‘Get up here with me! This quote shows that when she saw someone in need, she did not second guess when it came to do a good deed. She didn’t care if she was the only one raising her hand for Jon, she felt like she needed to do something for him so she did it. Juli naturally has a very kind heart, and she will not compromise her values when she knows she needs to do something for good, no matter what people think of her. She even gave the Loski family free eggs from her family’s chicken farm, even though she could have sold them for profit. The Loski family did not like the Baker family just because of their unkempt lawn and their messy chicken farm, but the Bakers are actually very good people. Bryce judged Juli and disliked her but he never even got to know her. The Loski family was passing judgements to their neighbors, but they didn’t even realise that their own family was falling apart.
