Judy Monologue

One summer day a girl came to talk to me on the playground, her name was Judy; noticing right away the stylish dress complemented with a red vest. Immediately sharing a bit of her life, her father a doctor, they lived on the other side of town within a nice neighborhood. Slow going is the friendship, although, moved along, she did all the talking, I have never seen her in a class or at lunch, only on the playground. However, this companionship on the playground was brief, after I showed her a secret. There was a janitor at school and older gray haired man, he complemented how pretty I was, not once, every time our path crossed. Mrs. Erickson, my teacher stayed by my side when he came around as we lined up for lunch. Out of the kindness of his …show more content…
Ericson to give to me after school. She told me not to tell or show anyone, take it straight home. That day I had to walk home, Patty walked with me, continuing to insist that I show the contents, we stopped half way through this patch of forest and I showed her. The following day my teacher kept me after school, I shared the secret with someone and the consequence of my action terminated this man’s employment. Speechless, I couldn’t reply, she told me to go on home. I had never seen Patty after that, not on the playground or in school. As time moved forward I developed excuses not to attend school, pretending to be sick to stay home and watch classic movies on this tiny black and white television. I evolved around the dancing, acting, singing, and opera was impressive. I kept this world of fascination locked up in that brain of mine. This is how I made myself go to sleep at night, create the stories until my brain could no longer stay awake, although this lifestyle came to a sudden stop when the school nurse took a visit to our house; attendance was horrible, thereafter, forced back to the world of education. Those dreams never stopped, in fact, they exploded one day. Our classroom went to the library; a novel
