“Catch the moon” is a story about Luis, who went to juvenile detention for six month for breaking and entering, and then wanted to be a good person and make a good decision. But, Luis is grieving his mother's death and he also doesn’t want to work with his father. So, Naomi come to Mr. Cintrón’s car yard to get hubcap and then Luis meet Naomi but, she ignores him because of his action. So, Luis searched for the hubcap to make her happy. In the end, he found the hubcap and after he cleaned it he give it to Naomi. In the story “Catch the Moon” the author Judith Ortiz Cofer communicates the theme that making a good decision can make your a better person and also help you to change your emotions. Because of Luis mother death, he got in the trouble
