At the end of my sophomore year, I was given the position as operations officer for the JROTC program at my school; a position that is usually reserved for a senior, but, my dedication and expertise to the program made me prepared for the post. My position requires me to exhibit excellent public relations, leadership in the program, and disciplinary skills. On a daily basis, I’m presented with questions by other students on how to improve physically and academically at school, in general. Students are somewhat frightened to ask me for help, but I encourage them to seek out help from others because I take pleasure in seeing others succeed in life..
One thing I am big on is physical fitness, especially helping others grow. I have not always been the most fit person in my JROTC class but, I worked out and started to eat healthy over the summer of my sophomore year. When I started my junior year, I was able to do pull ups, run a mile under seven minutes, bench press two hundred pounds, and much more. Seeing others that were in the same situation as me, made me want to help them. I started to workout after school with others everyday, gave others students nutritional advice, and gave had the students remind themselves of a reason why they are working out me everyday so that when the workout gets

The incoming freshman was very nervous for a week of exams for all her classes. I informed her of all the time she will have to study before coming to school, and how there is a study hall everyday after school. I told her she could make notecards and get her family involved to help her at home. Two weeks later, the student got her report card, and was very satisfied with her grades. I felt a great pride knowing that I was able to guide her;that a students is able to strengthen her cumulative GPA which, will benefit her college resume. I also aid my family at
