If I was to tell you that Jr. High was going to be a walk down the yellow brick road, I’d be lying. Jr. High can become traumatic, demanding, and overall exhausting, but if you go by the following guidelines, your Jr. High years will be successful and worth all the hard work and effort. First of all, you’ll need to study and work hard, because if you don’t put in the effort, then your grades will suffer because of it. Second you will need to know how to succeed, for high schools and colleges will look at these grades to see if you're eligible for their school. And last, but not least, you’ll need to be social and gain connections. These three topics will help you work hard, succeed, and make friends that will help you in the future. Studying is very important, because it can make the difference of an A in your grade, or a F that will cost you the entire quarter. Some ways of studying is with flashcards, rereading the topic in your book, or discussing the topic with a friend or teacher.
