They were going to put 5 bombs in each car and set them off so whoever was in the parking lot at that time would be killed. Eric and Dylan walked into the cafeteria with two duffel bags with a 20 pound bomb set to go off at 11:17 pm (History.com). They walked outside waiting for the bomb to go off. They waited about 5 minutes and when it didn't go off they knew the only choice was to start shooting everybody (History.comstaff). Before they went back in the school there were kids outside eating lunch.…

This personal narrative is going to be about the first day of Middle School and my experiences as a 6th grader. It is going to go after my emotions and other descriptive details of the first day. I still remember how the seat belt felt tightening across my chest as the car got closer to the Middle School. During that time I knew nothing about being in a big school because the biggest school i've been in was yankee ridge. (Which is really small).…
It was a beautiful sunny Saturday morning. As Myles sat on the edge of his bed putting on his sneakers, he heard a knock on his door. “Come in, “Myles said. “Good morning son, before you go outside today I need you to clean up the basement. It's a big mess down there" Mr. Lloyd said.…
The double doors of Mason County High School soared open at three o 'clock on a sunny spring afternoon. School was out for the summer. Students darted out of the school like they were being chased by something colossal, repugnant, and petrifying. “Ouch!” wailed Tyra as she was pushed down by this gargantuan pack of mad wolves sprinting as if they had their eyes on prey. Tyra continued on, “The boys at this school are SO annoying and immature!”…
The bell rang and everyone filed out the door as fast as they could. Lamar was the last one in the room, he was in no rush. He grabbed his backpack and trudged out the door after the others. Lamar was one of the many juniors in Princetown High School. He walked to his locker and opened it.…
My time at St. Cecilia school is never going to be forgotten. St. Cecilia has shaped me to be the person I am today spiritually, academically, and my friendships with other people. The theme of this year was living our strengths through service. I think this means that God has given us all a talent and we have to serve others through it. St. Cecilia gives many opportunities to do so.…
In 2008, all of the female first graders, and probably even a few of the male first graders, had a crush on the same seven year-old kid (for his sake and mine I'm going to change his name to John Smith). In the years to follow, the entire elementary school would have heard of and, of course, fallen for John Smith. But for the moment I, being a naive, newly turned seven year-old, thought that I would be the one to date John Smith. So one day towards the end of the school year, my teacher announced that we would be playing heads-up seven-up!…
I wake up at 6 in the morning, walk by my kitchen refusing to eat breakfast at 6:10, and pack my duffle bag by 6:35. After brushing my teeth at 6:50, I leave for school at 7 with my brother and my father. Classes begin at 7:35am and end at 2:12pm. Standing in the locker room changing my clothes and lacing up my shoes by 2:25, I remind myself why I put myself through this ritual every single day. The gym doors open at 2:30, when dozens of student athletes crowd the athletic directors office waiting for him to appear with the key.…
“Bye Jacob,” remarked my mom “Have a great day at middle school!” I was walking to the bus stop when I suddenly hear somebody yell “Jacob!” I look around to see who possibly could have called my name when I saw my friend Nick. I was so nervous my heart was pounding like a drum because it was a start of middle school. I was talking to my friends, waiting for the bus which it felt like an eternity, but the bus finally arrived.…
Being a high school student is composed of restless nights, and eight exhausting hours of classes in which you are obligated to stay awake in. A normal school day begins with me snoozing my alarm about ten times before my dad walks into my room telling me the dreaded “time to get up for school” reminder which I just take as a suggestion. Normally I will drag myself into the bathroom about ten minutes later to begin my routine. I spend about 40 minutes in the bathroom preparing myself for school and by the time I am done it is usually time to grab all of my things and barely catch the bus. Now this has to be my least favorite part of the day.…
Sitting in my room, I was a nervous wreck thinking about the first day of school. Not just any school, this was high school! My dad said. “Buckle up young man, you’re in the big leagues now!” He was right.…

It was there. Its presence marked my final destination. My fear suddenly started to creep over me just thinking about it like a ghost that every child was afraid of, when they turned off the lights. I began to ask my friends if it was true, and they said “Yes” and that it was due tomorrow! All of a sudden a chill ran down through me and my hands started to sweat of nervousness as I started to write down the homework.…
