Joy was born on July 30, 2002. When she was two years old she went to a daycare called “Mrs. Pelzer’s Day Care.” While there was taught things about Jesus Christ. In kindergarten, she was not very smart. She attended Calvary Christian School System, which later became Calvary Christian Early Education Center, when the high school section closed down. She has always wanted to be a Girl Scout ever sent she was young. Not it she finally had the chance she wasn't going to waste it. When Joy first started selling Girl Scout cookies she had trouble. Since this is all new to her it take her some time to get used to it but soon she got the hang of it and was selling cookies back to back. She had a lot of fun going with the Girl Scouts on different events. She says,“The funnest part of being a Girl Scout is selling Girl Scout cookies.”
Joy's experience at Faith Academy has been extraordinary to her. She says she's going to miss a lot of her friends but she hopes to make new ones in high school. Since Joy is in a specialty program she plans to do more than the 98% of the students and hopes to become that 2% of students who do their work, and exceed expectations of many.
