Journey Of A Football Player

Decent Essays
A journey starts with a single step. Although the journey can be long and tiring, with long strides and determination the trip can be fun and inspiring. For me football preseason is that first step. However important, preseason can be stressful, eventful, and can be used as a great experience.

The stress of having a valuable season can be immense; but, if you have an optimistic view, preseason can be remarkably helpful.

Preseason can be very eventful, because of the new staff, and the position changes.

It gives the Bucs an opportunity to go in attack mode and set the pace of the game. They spent the preseason and a lot of time in practice this week playing with as much noise and commotion surrounding the practice field as they could create while the offense was on the field. While it does create a different mindset and force players to use different techniques, it still doesn’t compare to what they will face Sunday when they open up the regular season against the Atlanta Falcons in the Georgia Dome. The Buccaneers offense has spent a lot of time working on…

Fall ball is a great opportunity for lacrosse coaching staffs to assess their team's strengths and weaknesses and see which underclassmen are ready to take on a bigger role. It is also a great opportunity for teams to build the camaraderie and communication skills that will be necessary for teams to have a successful season and a deep run in the playoffs come Memorial Day. While Fall Ball wins and losses shouldn't be taken too seriously, the scrimmages can be fans' and commentators' first opportunity to see the 2017 version of teams, including perennial lacrosse powers like UNC, Duke, Syracuse, Virginia, Maryland and Denver. It is also a great opportunity to see which other teams may be ready to topple one or more of the traditional lacrosse powerhouses.…
