Journey In The Animated Film 'The Alchemist'

Every journey causes change through the different types of experiences and obstacles faced by the journeyer. These changes can be physical and emotional.However the type of change the individual has, is dependent on the attitude of the journeyer. Therefore not every journey is transformative. This idea is explored in the novel “The Alchemist” By paulo coelho and the short animated film “Yin” by Costa Augustinos. In the novel, the protagonist santiago takes a journey to for fill his personal legend. Very early on his journey he is faced with many challenges.The animated film yin highlights status quo, journeys defining one's identity and how they fit into the world.

Change is a step towards transformation,every journey has the opportunity
