on my father and stuck in a horrific abusive marriage, has influenced me to pursue a degree in
psychology.I want to understand what provokes people to do horrible acts and how to help those type of
people and their victims. I want to teach women how to become more confident and independent. I want
to help children, educate them to be all they can be, because they also suffer, just as much as the abused
adult.
Often times men abuse their wives, girlfriends and children. The abuse can either be psychological and

Having a good education, women should be able to get a fair paying job at any given time. My mother
did not have a high school diploma, but did land a good job in a sewing factory. She made over
production, therefore, making good money. But, my father would take her paycheck, cash it and spend it.
So, it is a good idea to try really hard to save up some money and have an extra set of car keys and give
them to your parents or a trustworthy friend to save for you, in case of an emergency situation.
Women should be observant of their husbands or boyfriends, asking them how their day was, what they
did that day and so on. Always keep an eye on the money in the bank account and make sure you know
where the money is being spent. Snoop around if you have to. Stand up to the man in your life. Trust is
to be earned, not granted.Try not to give them your entire trust if you feel, in your heart, something isn’t
right. Generally, your gut instinct is usually right. Listen to your friends if they try to give you warnings
and investigate on your own or have your friends help you. Think about where the nearest
