From here, everything in the show is revolves around Sam and Dean emotional and dramatic relationship as they battle angels, demons and even each other. The clearest example of this would be the season five finale, after Sam has been possessed by Lucifer, Dean, angel Castiel (Cas), and the boys surrogate father Bobby Singer, try to exorcise Lucifer and put him back in his cage, which was created by God. After killing both Cas and Bobby, Sam/Lucifer starts to beat Dean, who doesn’t resist. As Sam goes to land another blow, he glances into the Impala and suddenly all his memories of life with Dean rush at him, allowing Sam to take control over Lucifer. At this point, Sam sacrifices himself for Dean by throwing himself into Lucifer’s cage. This scene shows that in the end, in the fight between good and evil, angels and demons, destiny and God himself, Sam and Dean choose family over everything else.

My favorite television show of all time is definitely the series aired on NBC The Office. The Office is an American comedy series adapted from a United Kingdom version that aired for a two short years. The television series has a unique mockumentary style applied to it to mock a serious documentary series in order to satirize the subject meant to cover. The Office is found humorous to the average person because the character’s workday consists of ego clashes and inappropriate behavior. I believe the series became successful due to the relatability of the series is common among the average American, making the series even more desirable to watch.…

The CW’s cult television show Supernatural tells the story of brothers Dean and Sam Winchester, played by Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, respectively, who hunt a variety of supernatural monsters from vampires and demons to sirens and ghosts. The show is one of the longest running shows for the network and for it’s genre; it entered its twelfth season on October 13. Supernatural has employed narrative elasticity in several episodes throughout its tenure, and these episodes tend to become the most memorable and humorous episodes of the show. Some episodes that employ narrative elasticity are simple “monster-of-the-week” episodes, such as season one’s “The Benders”. It aired later in the season, after Supernatural had established that monsters, like the cannibalistic wendigo in the second episode, are the bad guys.…
