Born and raised in Savannah, GA hospitality is a trait that is instilled in Rashad’s genetic makeup. Upon moving to Baltimore at the age of fourteen he started and completed high school at Thurgood Marshall High. After graduating high school Rashad took on the work world for three years before deciding going back to school to obtain a degree from an accredited university. Starting off as a Communications major at MSU he later realized that field didn’t quite grasp his interest. After evaluating potential majors to switch to he finally decided to change is new career path to hospitality management. Since changing his major Rashad has become a part of the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality, is now serving as Mr. Hospitality at MSU, attending conferences to gain internships and is traveling around the country learning more about his industry.
