Dr Josh Brower graduated from Washington High School in 1990. After high school, he continued his education at the University of South Dakota. Dr. Brower excelled in college. While the typical college student takes at least four years to complete his or her degree, Dr. Brower completed his degree in just three years. He also graduated with Cum Laude honors.
Dr. Brower was awarded a scholarship to the University of Minnesota, which was the top dental school in the nation at the time. While he was in dental school, he discovered that he had a strong interest in orthodontics and dental implants. The United States Army awarded Dr. Brower a Health Care Professional Scholarship. He studied at the Triple Army Medical Center from 1995 to 1997.

Some of those organizations include the American Dental Association, International Association of Orthodontics and South Dakota Dental Association. When Dr. Brower is not changing lives by improving smiles, he is spending time with his family. He has been married to his wife, Peggy, ever since 1993. He met Peggy when they were students at the University of South Dakota. They have four children together. Tennis is one of Dr. Brower's favorite hobbies. He regularly competes against other dentists in tennis matches. Additionally, Dr. Brower enjoys woodworking and is a member of the Minnesotta Woodworkers
