Josh Duggar is one of the nineteen children of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar. The Duggar family chose to homeschool all the children because they are conservative Christians with old fashion values. They wanted to limit the outside world for their children. Michelle and Jim Bob had been sheltering their children from so much, that they couldn’t really date, they had to go through a courtship. While having someone in their family chaperoning them, their parents have to make sure they like the guy or girl and researched them and look at their past. If something happened in the past that they don’t like, they talk to their child about it. The family doesn’t have a TV and are modestly dressed. The parents also don’t allow cursing or premarital sex. …show more content…
The show had lasted 4four years and nine seasons with 227 episodes. Jim Bob Duggar tells police his son admits he had molested six people including two of his sisters,while they were still sleeping in the families homes. The next morning they knew nothing of what had happened. None of this information became public until 2006 and TLC canceled the show. His two sisters Jill and Jessa Duggar were two of the girls he sexually harassed. Josh was only 14 and a little too curious about girls and how their body worked. Jessa was 9-10 and Jill was 12. After he had told his parents, they decided to have the doors locked when they all go to bed and the boys and girls in separate rooms. Josh and Anna have four children together, his kids don’t get to see him for a few months while he is in rehab. Anna and the kids supposedly are hiding out at a family home in the mountains of Arkansa. Josh’s life has changed after what he had done, things like Anna moves out with the kids and goes to leaves with her parents.
