Joseph Woods Case Study In High School

We are Barbara and Ben Hardesty, grandparents and guardians of Joseph Woods, whom we would like to enroll into Aaron Academy. Joseph is a 17 year old young man who would like to graduate High School and continue his education at College. Joseph has been expelled from Metro Nashville Public Schools, Cane Ridge High School, recently. We are appealing his expulsion, but even if we are successful in his appeal we, and he, feel it is in his best interest to begin home schooling for his education. A school Administrator arriving at the scene assumed Olivia was instigating a fight, and went to restrain her. Joseph, having heard the commotion, ran back to the scene where he saw the Administrator restraining Olivia. As Joseph

There are many things I could add, but for Joseph to face the situation he faced in the above incident, we believe he did the right thing, in the wrong

When I visited The Joseph Sam’s School, I learned the methods the professors use for educational training as well as speech and language therapy. There they serve children from birth through twenty-two years of age who have physical and intellectual disabilities. Also, they work with therapists and physicians to provide the best comprehensive programs for its students. I was surprised to see the technology that they use, for instance, I noticed how children learn to interact using tablets for an easy communication. They also use art and music as another method to enhance the cognitive ability, communication, physical coordination, attention, and visual perception skills.…
