Joseph Shwalenberg Interview

Great Essays
I got to interview our classmate and fellow English major, Joseph Schwalenberg, for this assignment. But, to answer the question directly, my dream job would be . . . a business investor. Like, I would invest in other people’s ideas and businesses and then make a profit. I wouldn’t have to manage anything or run a company of my own, I would just profit off of the labors of others. With that, I could enjoy life and do whatever I wanted to do. I think that would be

As of right now, if I could have any career that I wanted; I would be a radio host, TV show host, or an owner of a store chain. For the TV show, it would most likely be a sport related show such as Sportscenter, Sportsnation, or First Take. I want that to be my career because it’s something that I love to do and something I also have experience doing. I've been a part of The Juice radio show for a little over a year now, I always keep up with sports, regardless if I wanted to go into the sports field or not, and I've known Senator Kevin Matthews for about a year and a half. First and foremost, I've been with The Juice radio show since August 2016, we are mentored by Bobby Eaton Jr.…

When I was little, I wanted to be a chemist. I imagined myself in the lab coat and with goggles on, carefully pouring electric blue liquids and jade green foam back and forth into various containers, until something had exploded and I had discovered the best way to make flowers the size of people. As I grew up, I lost this fantasy, but I gained more knowledge on how I wanted to influence the world. Funnily enough, I discovered what I really wanted to do when I started working at Chick-fil-A during the summer before my sophomore year. All of my friends had warned me against working in fast food, quoting horrible smells and ridiculous customers and tons of grease.…
