Two men who were in the higher class of the economy used to have Joseph, iron out and clean their suits. They wanted to know what happened to Joseph, Joseph’s mom told him that he had been sent to a concentration camp and from that point forward they vowed to secure Joseph back. A few months later in the middle of the night Joseph was called outside. He thought he was going to be executed. Instead the guards brought him to a minuscule nearby village and he was released to his friends. This shows tenacious friendship. But Joseph had heavy fatigue, hunger, and physical ailments.
This story for me changes how I feel about the Holocaust. I knew that it was awful, but this is a whole new realm of horror for me. Joseph's story is inspiring and shows how far friendship and will to survive can take you. I definitely recognize the world differently and will try to never again take my position in life for granted.
