While studying he composed some of his fame works which are the Pavane pour une infante défunte (1899); in 1901 he composed a piece that was dedicated to Gabriel Fauré who was a French Romantic composer, organist, pianist and teacher. In 1903, he composed two pieces which are the Jeux d'eau a, the String Quartet, which is played in F major and follows four movements. In 1904, for the solo piano he composed The Sonatine, the Miroirs in 1905 and the Gaspard de la nuit in 1908. The orchestral pieces Rapsodie espagnole and Boléro. Ballet Daphnis et Chloé was his most popular work completed in 1912 which was commissioned from Sergei Diaghilev. In 1920, he completed La Valse, a piece of ballet and concert work. The most famous composition he did was Boléro which is a one-movement orchestral Ballet and was commissioned by Russian actress and dancer Ida Rubinstein. It was completed in 1928.
