José Salvador Alvarenga was born in Garita Palmera, El salvador and still lives there today. His living profession is being a fisherman. on november 17,2012 off the coast of Costa Azul,Chiapas, mexico on a fishing trip where he had been thrown off course by a storm. on the first day he had motor trouble and kept drifting farther and farther away.
