Jorinda And Jeandel In Beowulf

There were two young lovers named Jorinda and Jorindel, they were both madly in love with each other. They were engaged and they are waiting to get married, but it all changed when both of them visited a castle, or a fairie’s castle that was cursed. Every man that laid their foot on the castle at anytime, cannot move until the fairy says so. Women that came to the castle, or went by the castle will turn into a nightingale and will be put on a cage and sing forever for the fairy.

Jorinda and Jorindel was wandering near a castle which lead to their separation. Jorinda turned into a nightingale, whilst Jorindel can’t move nor speak to anyone. The fairy comes over and spoke to Jorindel so he can be free. Jorindel asks for mercy and prayed to the
