Unable to find work in the city, 22-year-old Jordie returns to his home town of Darkfall and after a night of drinking, gets into a car accident. Jordie might be human, but his brothers and extended family are members of the local wolf pack. Frustrated by his failure, Jordie’s mood doesn’t improve when his brother’s best friend Matt comes to baby sit him. Matt doesn’t expect to fall for Jordie, who he hardly recognizes after all these years and Jordie surprises him when he confesses he’s had a crush on Matt since high school. Not ready to tell Jordie’s brother, the two begin an affair. Jordie thinks Matt will drop him, not realizing Matt sees him as his mate. Over the week, Matt helps Jordie get back on his feet.
