It was late at night, and the Jordans were wandering in the woods. Their house had blown up, but they had lived far from any village, so nobody knew about what happened. The Jordan family contained 5 people: Mr. and Mrs. Jordan, Mary Jordan, Max Jordan, and Fred Jordan. Mary was a very pretty girl who was proper and intelligent, but Fred and Max were different, they liked to play, and were always dirty, then there was Mr. and Mrs. Jordan, and they were both very different, Mr.Jordan had always been like Fred and Max, and Mrs.Jordan on the other hand had been more like Mary. Let’s go.” “

But Mom,wouldn’t it be fun to live in a secret cave?”asked Fred.

“Were not cavemen Fred!” snapped Mrs Jordan, so they started walking the opposite direction. All of a sudden dark clouds covered the sky, and it started to rain. Thunder boomed, and lightning flashed.

Everybody in the cave!”Shouted Mr. Jordan. “

I don’t want to!” Shouted Mary.

“ We have no choice!” Shouted Mrs.Jordan over the storm. They all went in the dark, cold, spooky, cave. Then the opening in the mountain closed up again, and it became pitch black, then ever so slowly a faint blue light appeared in the darkness. No sooner did they figure out that it was a ghost. They all froze, and didn’t say a word.

Finally, Mr. Jordan spoke. “ Who are you?” He asked.

“ I am the ghost who lives in this very cave.” He answered in a cold, spooky voice. “ “
“Very sorry for trespassing, we’ll leave.”

Said Mr. Jordan shakily.”Oh, but you will never leave.” said the ghost in that cold voice of his.”After I died, and found this place,” he continued, I declared that anyone who came in would have to suffer the consequences of death. They all gasped.

“Oh, please sir, don’t kill us!” cried

Throughout history African Americans have fought for racial equality through many means; a major one being sports. Through their success in athletics, African Americans have made incremental steps towards achieving this collective goal, but due to their dependence on white-controlled establishments, have been confined to parameters of attainable power and social mobility. It was through successful black athletes like Muhammad Ali that spoke on the behalf of African Americans on injustices that paved the way in breaking those parameters and gain black power. The activism that created change by those black leaders has faded away in today’s black athletes, largely in response to the emulation of the greatest athlete of the 20th century, Michael Jordan. Revered globally as a hero and a “God”, with millions of followers wanting to be like Mike, Jordan’s influence influenced black athletes to be racially and politically neutral and strive toward individual success no matter the cost.…
